This group meets on the 2nd Friday of each month. Spanish-speaking parents in Monterey County are invited to participate in a parent support group hosted by the San Andreas Regional Center (SARC) in Salinas. This group meets on the third Thursday of each month in the San Andreas Regional Center office. Parents do not need to be SARC-eligible to attend. Light refreshments are served. This institute will be conducted in Spanish for parents and families of children with special needs. The goal is for parents to participate in the various workshops for educational, medial, and legal information on services and rights of children with disabilities. During this institute, there will be resource tables, continental breakfast and lunch. Child care is limited. You must reserve your spot for child care!
